Tarts AKA Hungarian Cookies 6 cups flour 1 lb cream cheese (soft) 1 lb butter (soft) preserves/jelly Mix flour, cream cheese and butter thoroughly in a bowl. Optional: make split dough into balls and fridge the balls not working with. Roll out small amount of dough and cut into squares. Put a small amount of preserves in the center, fold and pinch closed. Cook at 400 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. Watch them! Feel free to adjust the temperature and cooking time as needed! This is an old recipe handed down from my Italian grandmother, so the temps and times are always estimates.
