Brownies 1/2 cup butter 1 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 eggs 2 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate 1/2 cup flour Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla; beat in eggs. Blend in the (melted) chocolate. Stir in flour and 1/2 cup nuts (optional). Bake in a greased 8x8x2-inch pan at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
